According to real estate market research statistics, Beijing female house buying reached 47% in 2012, surpassing Shanghai and almost equal to that of Taiwan.

Improvements in women's social status and economic independence mean that women have become an important property purchasing power in Beijing. Data shows that from 2007 onwards, Beijing women's property ratio has been maintained at more than 45%. In addition, co-signing of property purchases has also led to continuous growth in women's property ownership in the past five years.

Overall, women's housing property in Beijing has been on a steady rise and has jumped to the forefront of Asia's main cities.
