The Second China-France Gender Equality Seminar, which was also the Third China-France Anti-Domestic Violence Seminar, was held in Beijing on November 24, 2017. Leaders from the Liaison Department of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) and China Women's University (CWU), and officials from the French Embassy in Beijing, attended the seminar and delivered speeches.

The head of a lawyers' association in Paris and two procurators from the French capital's procuratorate discussed judicial measures for preventing domestic violence. They exchanged views with representatives from CWU, Beijing Second Intermediate People's Court and a domestic violence intervention center in Central China's Hunan Province. Approximately 100 participants, including representatives from ACWF's Legal Department, women's federations (at the municipal and district levels) in Beijing, social groups, and teachers and students at CWU, participated.

The seminar, part of the activities under the Fourth Meeting of China-France High-Level People-to-People Dialogue, was sponsored by the ACWF and the French Embassy, and was held in collaboration with CWU.
