According to the results, some 26.7 percent get up early every weekend; 54.1 percent get up early occasionally on weekends; 16.7 percent prefer to stay in bed; and, 2.5 percent never get up early in the morning over the weekend.

When it comes to the reason why they do not get up early, some 62.1 percent said they want to sleep more after a week's hard work; 36.7 percent said it is because they stayed up late the previous night; and, another 22.3 percent said they just feel it is hard to keep getting up early every day.

Some 69.5 percent of those surveyed said they work more efficiently in the morning, 19.5 percent of which thought their work efficiency in the morning is high; 25.2 percent felt the work efficiency in the morning is the same as it is at any time; and, another 5.3 percent said working in the morning is inefficient.

Although they get up in different time for different reasons and hold different views towards the work efficiency in the morning, almost all of those polled believe that people benefit from getting up earlier.

Some 48.8 percent of the youths surveyed said being early to rise makes people energetic; 44.7 percent said it brings them a clearer mind; 43 percent thought getting up early will make the figure more beautiful and their appearance younger; 40.4 percent said it makes for a healthier life; 26 percent thought it makes them more optimistic; and, 10.2 percent thought they become happier by getting up early.
