The All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) hosted a business experience exchange activity at Peking University in Beijing on October 13 and attracted the participation of several hundred students.

Yang Liu, member of the Secretariat of the ACWF, attended the gathering and delivered a speech.

She said she fully recognized the achievements of women's actions in entrepreneurship and innovation and wished that female college students could devote themselves to guiding more women to start their careers in the new era.

Ye Jingyi, deputy secretary of the Party committee of Peking University, also gave a speech, and eight entrepreneurs shared their personal experiences through individual talks.

Yang Lan, president of Sun Media Group and honorary president of Her Village Academy, highlighted seven types of mentalities and capabilities women should develop when starting a business.

Other speakers at the event included: Zhang Meng, a bestselling author; Tang Weiwei, founder and CEO of TALK, a TED-style startup in China; Zheng Shenglan, founder of Miss Startup; Zhang Lu, a renowned investor in Silicon Valley and founding partner of Fusion Fund; Xiao Nianyi, a strategic incubator investor; Wang He, general manager of Taozhibao E-Commerce Co; and, Guo Qi, founder of the food brand Meat Coming.

As a bridge and link between the Party and women, ACWF has always been committed to serving and promoting women's participation in innovation and entrepreneurship and has carried out a series of campaigns to help women start their careers, said officials from the women's development department of the federation.
