||WSIC Holds Seminar on Studies of Women's Work Under the Leadership of the CPC

The Women's Studies Institute of China (WSIC), affiliated to the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), organized a seminar on women's oral history and studies on women's work in Beijing from July 10-12.
The seminar was designed to further study and understand the speech given by President Xi Jinping at the 95th anniversary ceremony of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on July 1, and fully comprehend the mission of women's organizations and their work under the leadership of the CPC.
Tan Lin, member of the Secretariat of the ACWF, called on experts of women's studies to adhere to the Marxist outlook on women and insist on the path of socialist women's development with Chinese characteristics, while carrying out studies of women's work.
Tan also expected participants to cultivate a group of researchers with social responsibility, so as to create a beneficial environment for women's studies.
Experts from China Women's University and Renmin University of China, as well as the WSIC, gave a series of lectures on women's oral history, and women's organizations and their work under the leadership of the CPC.
Over 50 representatives from the ACWF and related scientific research institutions and universities attended the conference.
