The Red Army's Long March, starting from October 1934 to October 1936, is a great turning point in the victory of the Chinese revolution. According to statistics, there were more than 2,000 female soldiers participating in the Long March, experiencing many untold hardships and sacrifices in this special expedition.

The heroic deeds and revolutionary spirit of these female Red Army soldiers is a precious spiritual wealth of the Chinese nation, as well as an important source of building socialist core values.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Long March, the Women's Studies Institute of China used a set of articles to show these female soldiers' footprints and historical contributions, with a view to carrying forward the spirit of the Red Army and encouraging all Chinese people to achieve their Chinese Dream.
