According to a series of in-depth investigations of women's realistic living conditions conducted by future CPC leader Mao Zedong, the central government formulated the relevant policies for women's work, put forward the work procedure of working women's movements and called on women at all levels to participate in all forms of revolutions and support the Red Army and the Soviet Government, as well as the improvement of women's own lives, as their central tasks.

In addition, the central government also called on to establish and improve women's organizations, enhance the leadership of women's work, recruit more female party members and strengthen the building of cadres.

II. The Formulation of Laws and Policies Provides the Guarantee for the Realization of Women's Rights

The Outline of the Constitution of the Chinese Soviet Republic was formulated after the establishment of the Soviet Government in 1931. The law not only stipulated women's rights to vote and to be elected, but also promoted women's liberation, recognized their freedom of marriage and implemented various methods to protect women so that they can get the material basis and participate in the economic, political and cultural constructions.

As the first law reflecting the equality between men and women in Chinese history, the Outline of the Constitution of the Chinese Soviet Republic showed that the CPC has been attaching great importance to the emancipation of women.

In order to ensure women's participation in politics, the local government based in western Fujian Province made an adjustment of women's participation quota. Moreover, the government also enacted a series of regulations to protect women from the perspectives of economy, land policy, labor and marriage rights, with a view to enhancing the social status of women in the Central Soviet Area, guaranteeing their rights and interests, and stimulating their vitality and creativity in the Agrarian revolution.

Furthermore, the Central Soviet Area also carried out childcare service movements to help women reduce the burden of raising children and lift their worries of taking care of children while working or participating in other activities.

V. Conclusion

The Central Soviet Area, as the most progressive and democratic place in China at that time, was one of the earliest experimental plots that eliminated feudal system and helped women achieve gender equality in politics, economy, marriage and education through the invention of the state power.

Under the leadership of the CPC, women have played an important role in participating in the construction of politics, economy and culture, supporting the front lines and expanding the mobilization, leaving a brilliant chapter in the history of Chinese women's movements, as well as a valuable historical wealth for women's organizations and the work reform in the new era.
