Currently,gender inequality still exists in the field of education,with gender segregation being one of its manifestations.Using quantitative research methods,this paper confirms the existence of professional gender segregation.In addition,the paper connects secondary and higher education and explores the emergence and strengthening of gender segregation from the educational process,examines influencing factors of gender segregation in terms of families,schools and professional environment,and makes specific suggestions on eliminating gender stereotypes about professions and encourages female students to strive for better professional and career development.This paper represents exploratory research for more in-depth analysis in the future.
