In technical and vocational colleges,the aim of preschool education is to train students,who major in it,to become versatile and application-oriented teachers at kindergartens so that they can adapt themselves to the reform and development of preschool education in China. Students are required to master basic theories and skills in the field of preschool education,and have abilities that can help them deal with the work and teaching at kindergartens in the future. The requirements differ from those at universities and technical secondary schools because the students are expected to be more skilled than the undergraduates and more qualified than the students at technical secondary schools. This paper discusses the structure of special abilities,the ways of training and the system of evaluation in preschool education.
