Summary: Based on the 2000 Chinese Women's Social Status Survey and the 2008 National Bureau of Statistics time using survey data, this paper analyzes Chinese women's self-control time in recent years has increased; and the self-control time gender gap trend has expanded. From the ages of 20 to 34 years old, educational degree in University and above, married and zero income, the self-control time period of the gender gap is the largest. To this, this paper puts forward the improvement of women's education level, increasing female income, promoting domestic service, and child-care services suggestions.
