Summary: The International Labor Organization (ILO) Beijing Office and the Women's Studies Institute of China jointly hosted a seminar on December 18, 2008 in Beijing to discuss the revision of the Regulations concerning the Labor Protection of Female Staff and Workers. The seminar also commemorated the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the ILO and the 10th anniversary of the ILO Bureau for Gender Equality. The 61 government officials, experts and practitioners present at the seminar debated on the draft revisions of the regulations by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
