Category: Research Info Briefing
Author / editor: WSIC
Issue / time: Issue No.9, 2013 (Total No.140)
Source: WSIC
Summary: Approved by the group leading the national philosophy and social science planning project, the "2014 National Social Science Foundation Projects Guide" was released on December 10, 2013, covering the time period between December 10, 2013, and to March 1, 2014. Of the 23 subjects in the guide, there are 11 studies in seven subjects directly related to women’s and gender studies. The seven subjects are Marx's scientific socialism, political science, sociology, demography, ethnic studies, foreign literature, and journalism and communication studies. Besides these, many other topics also can be studied from the perspective of women's and gender studies. The hope is that women's studies groups and institutions can widely spread this important research information, and encourage experts and young scholars of women's/gender studies to actively apply the information. They should strive to effectively promote the 2014 NSSF projects and further the development of women's studies.
