Main content: 1. Editorial thought: based on Marxism, Mao Zedong thought and Deng Xiaoping theory, editorial idea of "Almanac of Chinese Women's Studies (2006-2010)" adopts scientific social gender concepts, and strives to objectively, comprehensively, systematically record and reflect 2006-2010 women's studies of achievements and information, combing women's research development context.
2. Editorial content: this book style is consistent with that of "Almanac of Chinese Women's Studies (2001-2005)". It mainly collects women's studies reformation from January 2006 to December 2010 and organizes experts' studies on fields and topics, editing and publishing in the two forms of review articles and information entry.
Review articles are the key part of the book and mainly summarize and evaluate five years' results progress on all kinds of fields. Entries include academic achievements, organizational activities, academic profiles and other information. Based on the situation of 2001-2005, academic organizations reflect 2006-2010 new activities and changes. Academic profiles conclude gender studies scholars who have independent publishing monographs as well as academic research results during the year of 2006-2010, objectively reflecting and presenting Chinese women / gender studies overall situation.
3. Time schedule and project operation procedure: the book is planned for 2011 to confirm the writing task, contact the author and retrieve manuscripts, editing from 2012 the first to the third quarter, and publishing in the fourth quarter.
Programs include: setting up the topic report-project approval-collecting literature data-organization of editorial board and editorial department-holding editorial board meeting and studying editorial thought, content framework and style-division of labor and the work requirements-column editor drafting manuscripts plans and approved by chief editor-collection manuscripts-authors’ training-checking and revising-organizing manuscripts-handing the press, signing a contract-proofreading sample, validation cover-printing books-mailing the payment and books-issuing publicity and marketing-internet.
