Main content: 1.Research Objective:

--According to a comprehensive review and summary of women's liberation practice since the founding of the People's Republic of China, group members made an objective analysis of the historical rationality of the practice model and made an evaluation of the historic achievements and limitations.

--Organizers systematically analyzed how women's liberation, as a state will, was integrated into movements by various social organizations. At the same time, they also summarized the operational mechanism, experience and law of development.

--Based on the new conditions of a market economy and the reform and opening-up policy, organizers discussed the reconstitution of the relationship between the state, social organizations and women.

2.Project Progress

--Group members have collected a large number of representative documents at home and abroad, as well as many important historical files related to women's liberation practice.

--Carrying out a series of questionnaires and interviews on the protection of women workers' legal rights and interests in the non-public enterprises of east China's Zhejiang Province, female university students' values on marriage and love and their employment issues.

--Group members carried out research on the national intervention system and micro-operational mechanisms of Chinese women's liberation, as well as challenges faced in the process of marketization. In addition, they also put forward suggestions of operational mechanisms in Chinese women's liberation practice.

3.Achievements

--A monograph titled "The State, Organizations and Women: Operational Mechanisms of Chinese Women's Liberation Practice" has been completed.

--A series of papers and reports related to this topic have been completed as well.

4.Significance and Influence

This project not only provides important academic values for women's liberation with Chinese characteristics, but is also of practical significance to the harmonious development of gender equality, as well as the construction of a harmonious socialist society.
