Main content: The International Labor Organization launched the Improving Social Gender Mainstreaming Capacity in the 3+1 Mechanism project in August 2002. The 3+1 in China refers to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Chinese Entrepreneurs Association plus the All-China Women's Federation. This project, also launched in Tanzania, Uganda, Nepal, aims to carry out gender mainstreaming strategy and promote employment gender equality.
