Keyword: China, Gender Equality, Women's Day

The All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) will launch an activity to disseminate knowledge on the basic state policy of gender equality during the International Women's Day on March 8, 2013.

In conjunction with the upcoming activity, the Chinese Women's Research Society (CWRS) has released a notice to all relevant women and gender studies units and organizations to hold training sessions on promoting the state policy of gender equality.

In addition, as the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Rights and Interests of Women has been implemented for the past 20 years, the CWRS hopes that all units and organizations will strengthen their efforts to educate women on their legal rights and interests.
