The marriage is, in essence, a kind of long-term contract that includes association by identity and property ownership. Because of limitations on information sharing between the parties involved, there are shortcomings in some marriage union. Lack of marriage counseling facilities has not helped avoid the rise of divorcé. The ascendance of a doctrine that sees divorce as a break-up makes the situation of limited sharing of information worsen. Women often obtain compensations from divorce relatively late in the process. It is therefore more difficult for them to remarry, and they experience larger damages in divorce. It is very essential to strengthen the protection of women’s rights and interests in divorce procedures.
