What We Can Learn from Japanese Legislation on Workplace Sexual Harassment

Since 2005 sexual harassment has been written into Chinese law. Workplace sexual harassment has come into public attention of different walks of life in society. Due, however, to different reasons, issues of workplace sexual harassment have not been effectively addressed. In Japan, legislation on workplace sexual harassment has been adopted to particularly regulate employers, emphasizing employers' duties and responsibilities. The Japanese example has provided us with effective and useful lessons.
