This study explores the main features of changes in female criminality in China. The results show that, first, accompanying social transformation, women’s crimes in Chinese mainland display different characteristics and patterns with the overall crime situation; second, in different socio-cultural context, women’ crimes tend to have different characteristics and regular patterns; third, men and women’s crimes have different types and regular patterns; fourth, women of different occupations, educational degrees and ages indicate a significant difference in the crime rate and changes in crime trends.
