The study analyzes the public opinion, venture capital conditions, information technology, business management and service for entrepreneurship and identifies major difficulties facing women entrepreneurs, especially difficulties unique to women. This project then studies the EU policy framework for supporting women entrepreneurs in small and medium ventures. This project points out that EU policy-makers’ operation mode is to take female entrepreneurs as an important service object and EU’s special measures for women have played a positive role in promoting the growth of women entrepreneurs in SMEs..
